Without a doubt, our flexible curtain track can also be used for straight run but it will be different from straight track since it has been coiled up. In straight run application, we recommend installing mounting hardware at 9″ interval, with even spacing to make it look better. All mounting hardware need to line up, slightest off set will result in having a wavy track.
When straightness of track is a priority, we have available cubicle curtain aluminum track.
We recommend 4 rollers per foot of track to avoid curtain from too much sagging. For flexible curtain track mounting hardware, we recommend one per foot for curved track, and 9″ interval for straight run application. If your ceiling or wall is sharply curved, add additional mounting hardware at point of turns. For aluminum track, it needs 30″-36″ each.
Our tracks have metal plates embedded, they are extremely flexible and can bend 90 degrees or more without any splice so that the sliders can move freely without interruption. The diameter of a circular standard track can be as small as 12″.
Our tracks can be installed on either ceilings or walls. We offer unique hardware for each. When placing an order, please specify whether the application is intended for ceiling mount or wall mount.
The track and its parts are made of resin, which is very long lasting. The metal plate embedded within the track is made of steel. Life expectancy is 2 decades.
Our tracks are up to 164ft continuously without any splices or connectors. We do not sell connector pieces.
Optimum weight supporting capacity is 40 pounds per foot of standard track (4 rollers). Medium and heavy duty tracks are relatively greater. Material surface hardness is greater or equal to 75 HA. Softening point is 80 degree C. Life expectancy is 2 decades.
Indeed, our tracks can be easily bent into S shapes as long as the mounting cartridges are positioned correctly. Yes, all items are returnable, unless custom ordered. Please email us your order # and the items you wish to return within 30 days at contact@americantracksupply.com. Remember to repackage items carefully to prevent damage.
All items are shipped FedEx ground standard and can be expected to arrive in 1-3 business days. Packages ship from our facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
